My Friend & Me
Time: Early evening
Setting: Grabbing a snack with a close friend
Me: When you hit puberty, wasn’t it weird for you to have hair growing out of your cheeks and under and over your lip?
Friend: What do you mean?
Me: I mean you spent the first twelve or thirteen years of your life with a hairless face before you grew your fuzz. Didn’t it feel strange to have a bristly face?
Friend: Well, didn’t it feel weird when two lumps of fatty flesh came out of your chest?
Me: *laughs*

hehehe smart friend...and did it? did i feel weird? i dunno! now i want to know hehhee
all i'm going to say is touche!
LOL
nice post :)
hehehe thing is, neither of you got their answer.
here's how I remember the events as they occured to me. The fuzz came out very slowly and gradually, so you could say it snuck up on me. there was a time when I'd only shave under the sideburns. so it REALLY snuck up on me, I thought I was just behind on the trimming.
hehe good one
LOl you're fixated on the "hair" thing.. because of your previous post.
where do you come up with such ideas???
you're funny :)
good point!
princess: I think those feelings that came about during that awkward are mostly in the back of our minds and I really don't want to remember how difficult it was because really, when you think about it, it was sort of weird to deal with the whole "growing up" experience. Personally, I think the attention I got threw me off and I felt...tainted? :P~~
mishmisha: Hehe yup!
familiar stranger: Haha :P I think for guys the most noticeable thing would be their voice. I remember we used to tease some of the guys in our class when they would talk in a squeaky voice one second and would sound like Schwarzenegger in the other :P
heroine: :))
flamongoliya: :D
3abeer: I guess these posts come from the most ordinary and somewhat redundant every day experiences :P
yazeed: Hehe, yeah :)
:D cracked me up!!
it's weird i never actually thought about any of this.. i remember being jealous of all the other girls in the PE changing rooms cause while they were all curvy and womanly while i was flat and still boyish...
so i guess when it did happen i was happy to finally join the team ;p
عيدج مبارك وايامج سعيدة
موفقة انشالله وعقبال مباركة التخرج
عيدكم مبارك وعساكم من عواده
CPanic: I so relate to your locker room experience. I remember when I was a ninth grader I was still a stick and I saw the 12th graders waltzing around, all feminine and crap, and I used to think,"And me!" Hehe, good thing I caught up :P~~

Sedna: Ayamich sa3eeda :))
Temi: Long time :) Well, he sorta had a point...an implied point...growing a beard or a breast is gradual...it may have been awkward at first but it's somewhat natural and meant to be I suppose :)
