Look at the bright side, atleast they're riding with you. My parents wouldn't ride with me even if it depended on their lives.

As for driving parents, I took my dad once then he decided not to go with me :)

coolfreak: Welll, they had no other choice :P~

msb: I know! I love driving in Chicago because you get all caught up in the screaming, hair pulling, swearing, etc. I like to drive but I don't think my blood pressure likes ME driving!

Purga: Well, not the American-nasal "Come on," more like the Arabicized "cam ohnnn" one :P This was the first time I drove with my dad. I actually prefer him in my passenger seat and not my mom, who was sitting in the back. My mom tried to teach me how to drive in Kuwait but she lost it. She literally started to smack the passenger window repeatedly while yelling "Shoofay ilee yamICH! SHOOFEEEEE!"

DR: Heh, you can't say nothing, but they sure do give a damn good hug regardless of how erratic your driving is! So yay for me! I'm hugging like crazy :P (but the Squirt is so boney though...take a B/W pic of him and he'll look like he just stumbled out of Auschwitz...)

    zanzounito: Double yay! Congrats! :D

1001: I'm a "safe" person in general, but when I'm driving well...you see, I traced down the whole "a39ab" thing in me and it turns out it's genetic so I can't really control it. I'm a good driver (whoever drove with me and is reading this, don't submit any negative comments about my skillz on da road, thanks :P) but for some odd reason, my road rage isn't taken very well by my lovely passengers.

And well, we were in a traffic jam. We were not moving at all! And this idiot behind me on my right wouldn't let me take Exit 50B! I had my eshara thing going on, and the only thing I had left to use was a human appendage! But yeah, I just stayed in my lane and did not move (people were honking) until someone let me pass in peace :D

There aren't a lot of good results that come out of road rage, but one positive outcome is having a hoarse, sexy voice ("ba'7a") that may come from all the creative yelling :P

You haven't experienced driving in Chicago until you rent a huge uhaul truck and try to get from one side of Michigan Ave. to the other..

That said, I hope I never experience it again.

As for being tall .. you make it seem like a much bigger issue than it really is. Just walk with a crouch, you might develop a hump .. but problem solved. :)

why are parents second hand drivers?

tooth fairy: The phrase "towase6ay 7artich" reminds me of my one and only driving test back in Kuwait. I remember making a mistake when I parked on a hill; my tester gave me a "look." I told him,"Bes ilyowm 3eed meeladee..." which was true. He later told me dad that he's going to give me a license but that I should practice parallel parking and parking on high rises; he said,"Bentek iksarat kha6ri." *evil smile* ;P~

    tipsy: Heh yeah well :P~

K: That sounds like a mighty task :/
And a sarcastic "haha" at your tall thing :P Well, I know a few girls who DO have bad posture because they're considered tall in Kuwait. I like my posture. I'm not bending over ;P

3abeer: They can't drive my car because they're not registered under under my insurance policy
  14. Blogger 3abeer posted at 2:44 PM
I know that... I've been through the same experience with my dad when he visited... my question is .. why can't they just sit and enjoy the ride..

Next time gooleelhom, da3oo lee al qiyada wa tamata3oo bil ri7lah ;)
