Good post Erzulie. Cognitive psychology is full fascinating stuff.

McArabian: I thought dyslexics see the word written backwards?

    Sami...
I love psychology. I had a 'Social Psychology' course freshman year...it's actually fun when you read something about yourself and others and the way they act...it's like 'Ohhh! That's what you call that!' It's pretty intriguing.

Mc and sami, I think that's the way dyslexics see words.. and that they see it backwards is a misconception..
Then again I slept through Psyc 101..
Erzulie <-- love the name by the way
I took one too.. I memorized all kinds of terms just to throw out at people heh.. did you get the weeping session? where everyone discusses death and some decide to desecrate the dead and turn it into a drama fest

Leeno: You know, I just love the social sciences, English, and history. I steer away from math and numbers. I think I'm allergic. But yeah, I mean I actually enjoy reading a history textbook, psychology...hey, I find it really interesting!

    Symbols: Haha :P

I don't think that is the same way those who have dyslexia see the words!

And the purpose of this experiment is to prove that you can read the words even if the letters are mixed up as long as the first and last letters remain unchanged.
