Be Stupid
I recently saw Diesel's latest advertising campaign and fell in love with its playful simplicity and happy-go-lucky optimism.
Here's the campaign's smart and simple commercial:

Liechtenstein - Sophistication
Shalabi Effect - Blue Sunshine
Jens Lekman - Black Cab
Whitey - Can't Go Out Can't Stay In
Midlake - Young Bride

yeah, saw the diesel ads. good stuff. found some scandalous ones but didnt have the cahonas to post them. i'll post them for today :>
thanks for the music, just found out i had a way to upload my music on my blog easily. your such a good influence. have a wonderful day
don veto: that's your opinion :>
q80thug: anytime!
Hey, I am in good company. Gee, wow, Diesel thinks it's actually kewl to be stupid. How stupid is that?! At last, someone's thought to take my case.
So sorry, I know you're entitled to your opinion, but I felt SO strong about this I HAVE to give my two cents.
I hated that!
I don't see what's the relation to diesel and the only thing that came to mind was stupidity was promoting stupid.
I felt like they were trying too hard to appeal to the already stupid masses without a purpose to that ad
That was very disappointing and I hope that's not the future of advertisement.
There are a lot of fun creative smart advertisements out there that don't make me feel like I lost brain cells and don't encourage shallowness and promiscuity - this was certainly not one of them
To each his own and I loved it! How I hate hearing know-it-alls say its stupid but pretend they never did when the plans fall through!
And nice hearing Phoenix again, that song brings back memories!
woman man: well yes it depends on how you see it i mean i bet a good bunch of people thought benjamin franklin went completely berserk when he was running around during a thunderstorm while flying a kite but millions of people benefited from that in the end :)
N: again it depends on how you look it at. the way i see it? read my reply to "woman man" above and you'll get my drift. to me, it translated to this: being unconventional makes average great, thinking unconventionally might just do the trick and unconventionality as a whole is totally worth it because it gives you flavor and that extra kick of fun and spunk. but then again, it depends on your mentality and mindset and pov :)
flaming: agreed :)
