Question of the Day: When searching for batteries, why do we go for the remote's?

Why is it that when people need batteries, they always go straight to the remote control's although it's the most frequently used device in the house?

Love the Bob Dylan and Joan Baez hehe ;) Deja Vu!
Also the "Watchtower covers". Thank you thank you :*

We go for the remote because it's just too easy and think no one will catch us being inconsiderate bums but they always do.

Your word moderation today is : "Wooing"

    I like it!

    :*

ms. baker: i love "woo" too! it's so underrated and hardly ever used :/ i go for it too (my mouse runs on batteries) but i return it when i use the remote :P i sometimes go for other people's remotes, like the family tv downstairs :P~~

traveleer: that's why i always buy batteries at the co-op now :>

I think its because there's a million remote controls laying around, there's bound to be one that isn't used anymore. Either that or the need to be instantly gratified. (I don't know if that makes sense, but the instant gratification ethos of "what I need right now" fits in well with what I'm trying to say.)

WV: Actochi, which fits in perfectly with the verbal sneeze above.
